Immersion Blender Mayo

garlic (minced)1 medium clove

lemon juice1 tbsp

🍳 Cookware
- jar
- immersion blender
- refrigerator

1Place egg , lemon juice (from 1/2 a lemon), and dijon mustard in the bottom of jar that just fits the head of your immersion blender .egg: 1, lemon juice: 1 tbsp, dijon mustard: 1 tsp

2The circumference of the jar must be just larger than the head of your blender.

3The egg/lemon juice mixture must reach the blades for this to work.

4If the mixture does not reach the blades, double the recipe before attempting.

5Add garlic (minced) .garlic (minced): 1 medium clove

6Pour vegetable oil or canola oil on top.vegetable oil: 1 c, canola oil: 1 c

7Allow to settle for ⏱️ 15 seconds .

8Place head of immersion blender at bottom of jar.

9Turn it on high speed.

10Do not pulse or move the head.

11As mayonnaise forms, slowly tilt and lift the head of the immersion blender until all oil is emulsified.

12Season mayonnaise to taste with kosher salt .kosher salt

13Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to ⏱️ 2 weeks .
